Natural Recipes For Skin Care

The skin is the largest organ of the body and yet most of us don't do enough to maintain our skin’s health. Millions of pounds are spent on body products every month, but there are certain traditional and natural treatments available that will not cost you a fortune. Also remember good skin care is a continuous process, and can not happen over night. So start now and you shall really look great for that date.

Did you know that that having healthy skin can make you feel great and this fact alone can help increase your success in finding a suitable partner? I guess good skin care and hygiene are a prerequisite for most dating scenarios.

Well we want to help you look your best and there are a number of natural ways that you can have great looking skin. One also has to understand that not everyone has perfect skin and some of us do suffer from conditions like eczema and psoriasis.

Let start by not underestimating the value of drinking lots and lots of water, by drinking water you are hydrating your skin, and this can help strengthen it and thus make it more immune to infections. Water will act as an internal moisturiser to for your skin.

In addition to water acting as an internal moisturiser, we also need external water replenishment. A wide variety of moisturisers are available that range from very inexpensive to very expensive. Examples are: vegetable glycerin, rose water, jojoba oil, vitamin E oils, sorbitol (derived from plants), honey, aloe vera, and iris.

Aloe vera is very good for skin care. Since ancient times, it has been used effectively to treat everything from dry skin, burns, and insect bites to skin irritations, acne and cuts. You can usually find an aloe vera plant growing in your back yard if you live in Kenya.

One can also apply yogurt on the face every morning. Wash it off after a few minutes with cold water. This will keep the skin complexion smooth, healthy and fresh. A mixture of yogurt and lemon juice is ideal for softening hands. Most of us Asians suffer from dry skin conditions such as eczema, we would recommend avoiding soap for bathing, why not use something like Aqueous cream instead of soap? So, skin care does not have to cost a fortune and one can always look great on a date…
